I have decided that it is much safer not to care. Nope, this gal ain’t going to fall for it anymore. People are starving, people are dieing heck, they’re even killing each other but do I care anymore…nope! I made the mistaking of doing so once, caring that it, it came back to kick my do-da and, while rubbing said do-da, I came to the conclusion it was best not to do so, care that is.

Now, I dare say you thinking I’m not a very nice person after all, the fact the world is imploding, should be a concern - the thing is, it is not up to me. I mean I pay my taxes, keep to the law and try, very hard not to bother other people, (mostly for selfish reasons as I HATE people bothering me), and I don’t kill anyone which, in my opinion, is darn good of me!

I dare say that part of the problems of the world are the fact people have given up caring. I, like many, watch the evening news with a sense of bewilderment and sheer grief at what ‘we’ get up to. The stupity of the human species is one thing but the senseless cruelty is something to warrant extreme despair.

I guess I should try and find a positive, a good thing, (looks around), all I can come up with is my dog - he is currently laying on my foot, a warm and gentle way of keeping his ‘ma’ in her place yet, I find a comfort from this and in a world of doom and gloom your pet dog keeping your foot warm is a definite positive.
